Non-Traditional Concessions and Franchise Development Expert Since 1996, LeMonica Hakeem has been in the business of pursuing new business opportunities. Her experience has placed her in C-level and executive leadership roles across the non-traditional and franchise development industries.
Her Business Development Skills are Unmatched. She has served as Vice President of Business Development for a worldwide airport concessions company, where she focused on acquiring non-traditional concessions contracts in new and existing markets, establishing new brand relationships, and exploring strategic diversification ventures. With excellent instincts and the ability to establish strategic partnerships, she was instrumental in directing long- and short-term strategies, including alliances that enhanced growth and increased business. She was responsible for over $30 million in new business in her last two years with the company.
LeMonica is also a seasoned financial expert. She has served in CFO and Internal Audit Director roles where she helped maintain stability during critical transition periods and performed financial audits of publicly and privately held companies and coordinated SEC-related services.She has traveled the world while working with a global firm, providing expert leadership to the company’s audit team, identifying financial risk levels conducting international audits to plant sites in North and South America, Australia, Europe, and the Far East.
She serves several community and volunteer leadership roles. LeMonica has been a board member of the ATL Airport Chamber, Caregivers Hope and Volunteers for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention, Inc. She currently serves on the Board of the Georgia Restaurant Association and is a member of several industry associations and volunteers with various community organizations.
LeMonica is a summa cum laude graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a BS in Accounting and holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
